The Aurora Virtual Leadership Programme is a strengths‑based course delivered over seven weeks, ideal for aspiring, emerging, and current leaders across the GLAM sector. Feedback from previous cohorts highlights its value not only for new leaders, but also as a leadership “refresh” for mid‑career professionals and those established in their roles who are keen to reflect, learn, and develop further.

Aurora Leadership Institute 2026 – applications now open

Proudly delivered for 30 years, the Aurora Leadership Institute offers an immersive five‑day residential learning experience for aspiring and emerging leaders in the GLAM sector. Held on the beautiful grounds of Mary MacKillop Place in Sydney, the Institute provides 35 hours of applied learning designed to reshape participants’ leadership journeys.

The programme blends interactive sessions, one‑to‑one coaching, and small group activities with experienced GLAM mentors. A strong emphasis on reflection, authentic learning, and strengths‑based leadership empowers participants to grow with clarity and purpose.

With up to 30 like‑minded peers from across Australasia, the Institute also offers rich opportunities for connection, networking, and informal learning—often cited as one of the most valuable aspects of the experience.
