What does it take to comply with the Public Records Act? Come along to our next ARANZ IM webinar for an overview from one of ARANZ's council, Michael Upton. Alongside years of working as an IM practitioner, Michael has worked for Archives New Zealand and used to run training courses on Archives New Zealand's behalf.
When we surveyed our members and communities such as the NZRecords and NZLibs listservs, it became clear that especially for those smaller organisations and ones based outside Wellington, people out there would benefit from something about the fundamentals.
The session will look at compliance requirements for a public office, rather than for local authorities, but many points will be relevant for both.
