ARANZ Otago/Southland Branch invites you to our lunchtime kōrero on oral histories on 9 November 12.30-1.30 pm via Zoom. The speakers will be:

• Rosemary Baird from Heritage New Zealand about what is oral history, why it matters, and archiving it. 
  

• Carolyn Squires from Central Otago Oral History Project about the Central Otago Heiritage Trust’s recently developed online catalogue and how it can be used to access interviews.
  

• Rosie Stather from Invercargill City Libraries and Archives about the Southland Oral History Project, how it started, the scope of the project and how’s it’s managed and about the collection.
