Brown Bag Lunchtime Kōrero Online: Impacts of Covid-19 (Omicron) and Wellington Protest on Public/Community Service

Please join us for the first installment of a new ARANZ Lunchtime Kōrero series hosted by the Wellington ARANZ branch.

Date: Wednesday 27 April

Time: 12 – 12:45pm

Register via Zoom here

This session provides an opportunity for Wellington GLAMiR professionals to reflect on recent challenges posed by the Omicron outbreak and Wellington Protests.

Join us as Kristina Siversen (Wellington Chairperson) facilitates a panel of speakers from Victoria University of Wellington Library, Parliamentary Services and the Alexander Turnbull Library.

Our speakers are:
Brent McIntyre – Manager Collections and Information, Parliamentary Service;
Catherine Doughty – Law Subject Librarian, Victoria University of Wellington Library;
Philip Worthington – Subject Librarian for Wellington School of Business and Government, Victoria University of Wellington Library;
Chantalle Smith – Research Librarian, Alexander Turnbull Library;
Joan McCracken – Outreach Services Leader, Alexander Turnbull Library.

Our speakers will share how their organisations experienced disruptions from COVID and the recent protests, adapted their services, came up with creative solutions, and supported their kaimahi and users during this unprecedented time.

You don’t need to be a member of ARANZ to attend this webinar so please feel free to share this event with your networks. We look forward to seeing you!
