I hope this letter finds you well and the New Year has begun in a positive light for both yourself and your institution.
As an Association looking at pathways to support our members, we have been in discussion with tertiary education providers to ascertain benefits we can provide as a professional organisation. One of the key aims of the Association is:
To promote professional competence in the administration and preservation of archives and records… by promoting the training of archivists, records keepers, curators, librarians and others by the dissemination of specialised knowledge.
It is with pleasure that we can now announce that the Association has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Open Polytechnic.
This offer extends a 10% discount on all course fees for ARANZ Members for NZ3467 - New Zealand Diploma in Records and Information Management (Level 6) and OP7040 - Bachelor of Library and Information Studies. In addition, the LIS507 -Principles of Records Management and LIS610 - Archives Management courses are provided fees-free under a relevant qualification.
Undergraduate study, lifelong learning and upskilling for Information Management professionals are critical in a world where the value of data and amount of information created continues to trend exponentially upwards.
In order to apply for this discount to study fees you must be an individual member of ARANZ. We encourage you to notify individuals within your sector that are currently in the Library Studies and Information Program with Open Polytechnic and are not an ARANZ member to join the Association and take up this offer.
Further information is included on the attached poster to this e-mail. Please contact our Membership Portfolio holder, Chris Meech, via firstname.lastname@example.org to obtain the Contract Name and ID to take up the offer.
Thank you for your continued support of the Association,
