About the Newsletter
The ARANZ newsletter is produced four times a year in the following months: January, April, June, and October. The April and October issues are generally sent out with the Archifacts produced in those months. Each newsletter is four sides of A4 in length.
The editor is always thrilled and often positively delighted when members forward items for inclusion. These might include topical items about archives and recordkeeping sourced from the media (or listservs etc.) regarding records and archives matters, or branch news or events. Photographs can also be submitted. The editor is happy to return any photographs after publication. Typically newsletter items are no longer than 500 words. The Editor has the final word on all decisions regarding content.
The newsletter also carries advertising on occasion. This is very reasonably priced and all enquiries should be directed to the Editor who can provide details of costs and arrangements. Advertising can include both inserted advertisements in the Newsletter or the inclusion of advertising flyers (e.g. for a conference etc.) with the mailout.
The working deadline for submission of material for each edition is the second Friday of each month the newsletter is published (January, April, June, and October). Contact details for the Editor are printed at the end of every Newsletter.
