Contest of Capital Craniums for Christchurch
Archivists and librarians are gathering their ablest intellects to solve the age-old imponderable: which discipline can boast the best general knowledge … and it’s all in a very good cause. The Archives and Records Association of NZ (ARANZ) and the Library and Information Association of New Zealand Aotearoa (LIANZA) will be fighting it out at the great Christchurch Earthquake Fundraiser Quiz Night Wed 20th April 2011......the world’s first Bibliographic Brainstrust
Quiz-off for the big event at the Black Harp Restaurant and Bar on the corner of Featherston Street & Johnston Streets, Wellington will be 7pm on Wednesday, April 20th 2011. Teams can be any number up to a maximum of six members. It is open to individuals or groups of up to six library/archives/records professionals (it might be okay to rope in an outsider if really, really necessary) to mount a team bold enough to pit wits with the brightest and best Capital Craniums.
First prize $100 bar tab sponsored by the Black Harp.

Teams of up to six eggheads each are being selected and trained in secret and to enter the fray by donating $10 per person in cash on the night.
